Starting at just $30, Simple Machining offers 3D printing services in the Bay Area in FDM, SLA, SLS and MJF. With local pickup, you can have your printed parts in as little as 1 business day.
Based in Livermore, we help Bay Area engineers and product teams move faster with local 3D printing and same-day pickup options. Upload your 3D model to receive three real-time custom quotes based on material, color, and lead time. We support STL, STEP, STP, 3MF, and AMF files.
We offer a variety of additive manufacturing processes so you can make exactly what you need
FDM 3D printing creates parts by melting and layering thermoplastic filament.
Due to its low cost, material variety, and quick turnaround, FDM is commonly used for early prototypes and functional parts such as jigs, fixtures, and concept models
SLA is a resin 3D printing process by using laser to cure resin into solid layers.
Utilized for its high resolution and smooth finish, SLA technology is ideal for presentation models, molds, and complex geometries that require tight tolerances.
SLS fuses powdered nylon with a laser to create parts without support structures.
Enables durable functional prototypes, live hinges, and low-volume production where uniform finish and durability are desired.
MJF builds parts by dropping a fusing agent over heated, powdered nylon.
Delivers strong end-use components and tight-tolerance parts, which scales cost-effectively for medium-volume production.
and why Simple Machining’s 3D Printing Service stands out from the rest.
With FDM printer build volumes of up to 36” x 36” 36” and with scalable capacity for producing up to 100 parts in as little as a day, we can support nearly any project.
Our founders have over 15+ years of experience, working in cutting-edge additive manufacturing research. They understand your unique needs, providing expert guidance to deliver client success.
We offer over 20 materials and colors. Along with standard filaments such as PLA and ABS, we also offer specialized thermoplastics including bio-compatible PA-11, rubberized TPU 95A, and UL94 V0 ULTEM 9085.
Unlike other services, we automatically analyze your part and generate three optimized print profiles, making it easy to choose what best fits your needs, especially if you're new to 3D printing.
There is no minimum order quantity required. We accept all orders, even just one (1) unit.
Our Auto-Quoter instantly calculates and applies competitive discounts based on order quantity. Volume-based discounts starts at just two units.
Tight deadline? We offer expedited production and local pickup so you can get up to 100 3D printed parts in as little as one business day. Perfect for fast-paced Bay Area teams that need reliable turnaround to keep prototyping on schedule.
Just select expedited production when ordering to access our fastest lead times.
Eliminate shipping delays with local pickup in the Bay Area. While typical delivery services like USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL can take 3-8 days, our expedited local production lets you have your 3D printed parts in as little as one business day. Ideal for Bay Area teams needing multiple iterations quickly to keep projects moving forward.
We offer additional post processing services to reduce headaches while printing — many of them for free!
Easy to access support structures are removed at no additional cost. We offer complex support removal services for a flat fee.
We perform heat polishing for supported materials to reduce the effects of support scarring & print bed adhesion.
Every client is assigned a dedicated account manager. They're your human point of contact who understands your needs to deliver the best possible service.
Each part is individually labeled with its name, version, and specs, and then bagged. It's perfect for projects with multiple parts or revisions to keep everything organized.
For orders over $250, enjoy free standard shipping to anywhere in the contiguous United States. If you are located nearby, you can even pickup your package to save some time!!
Our technicians carefully remove standard supports to ensure your part is ready for use straight out of the box. For parts with complex or hard to reach supports, we offer advanced support removal for a flat fee, delivering a clean finish without the stress of breaking delicate features.
Heat polishing improves surface quality by reducing the visible marks from support removal and bed adhesion. This creates a smoother, more uniform finish that is easier to paint, coat, or use in customer-facing applications.
Every client is paired with a dedicated account manager who works to understand your unique needs and guides you through our services. They’re your single point of contact, available for questions, pricing support, or design feedback across all your projects.
The Bag & Tag add-on ensures every printed part is clearly labeled with its name, version, and key specifications before being sealed in a protective bag. This service is ideal for complex projects with multiple parts or revisions, helping you maintain organization throughout prototyping and production. Labels can also include a barcode, QR code, or data matrix upon request for internal management.
Orders over $250 qualify for free ground shipping within the contiguous United States.
Check if pickup is available for your order:
PLA is a low-cost, design-tolerant filament.
Ideal for printing initial prototypes and rapid visual iterations.
ASA is a UV-resistant filament known for its strength, durability, and excellent outdoor performance.
Ideal for parts exposed to the elements.
